SmartPay Set Up Process for GUARD Insurance Companies policyholders #

1. Agent To #

• Step 1: Choose PayGo with underwriter.
• Step 2: Select SmartPay as the payroll source.

2. GUARD To #

• Step 1: Set up account in their system.
• Step 2: Send SmartPay account information (contact and policy information).

3. SmartPay To #

• Step 1: Set up account in their system.
• Step 2: Send welcome email to policyholder.

4. Policyholder To #

• Step 1: Complete SmartPay online registration (banking or credit card information).

5. Payroll Company To #

• Step 1: After notified by SmartPay of a PayGo client, set up auto-send of payrolls on/after the policy effective date.
• Step 2: Transmit payrolls to SmartPay each pay cycle.

6. SmartPay To #

• Step 1: Transmit payroll reports to GUARD each pay cycle.
