Adding a New Pay Schedule in FRIDAY for Premium Plans #
This guide outlines how to create additional pay schedules to accommodate different pay frequencies or specific employee groups.
Key Requirements #
- Account Type: Available for Premium Accounts.
- Access Level: Must be logged in as an Administrator.
Why Use Multiple Schedules? #
Multiple pay schedules allow you to manage different payroll needs simultaneously, such as:
- Different pay frequencies (Weekly, Bi-weekly, etc.).
- Separating departments with unique pay cycles.
- Distinguishing between salaried and hourly employee groups.
Step-by-Step Instructions #
Navigate to Payroll Settings {audience: admin} #
- Log in to your FRIDAY admin account.
- Click on Settings in the bottom-left sidebar.
- Select Company Settings from the menu.
- Click on Pay Schedule.
Create the New Schedule {audience: admin} #
- Click the + New Pay Schedule button.
Configure Schedule Details {audience: admin} #
In the pop-up window, fill in the following information:
- Name: Give the schedule a descriptive name (e.g., “Warehouse Weekly” or “Executive Monthly”).
- Pay Frequency: Select the appropriate cycle from the dropdown:

- Start Date: Choose the date the pay period begins.
- Check Day: Select the specific day employees will receive their pay.
