Leaders who are not open may find that their team is not honest when it is necessary. Being open and honest means expressing thoughts without sugar-coating. If a leader heavily filters feedback for employees, it indicates that they may not be a good fit for the organization.
Be on the same page with your team.
Most frustrations in business come from people not being on the same page with the company’s vision, goals, and priorities. Consider scheduling a monthly "SAME PAGE" meeting to hash out these frustrations and ensure that everyone is always on the same page.
Let your team do their job.
Sometimes we forget why we hire people. When you hire a new employee and still do their job, you are stepping on each other's toes. Create clear roles and responsibilities so everyone knows who does what in the company.
