Closed questions can be answered with "yes" or "no" and may lead to a very stiff interview that tells you only basic facts. Open-ended questions usually begin with phrases like: Why, What, Describe, or Tell me about.

When writing a job description (which should be done for every hire!), you picture your ideal candidate. But are all the skills and experiences you list really necessary? Consider where you can be flexible.
Track your candidates efficiently.
You won't remember everything and everyone, so you need a place to store and track your candidates' information and details.
Best: Get an ATS (Applicant Tracking System). Good Enough: Use a Google Sheet—email me for a practical and simple template.
