Be yourself - make a mess
As the captain, stay focused to create as much steam as possible to drive cash to your business. Don't be afraid to get creative and make a mess. Cook up the cash storm. That's what being an entrepreneur is all about! It is relatively easier to hire a killer accountant to make budgets, shape things up etc., but entrepreneurs like you are not easy to come by.
Play by your own rules
A successful business is like aboard game that the business owner enjoys playing. While you can often recreate the board and revise the rules, the one thing you always want is to be playing together with a lovely and empowering team. Assemble a super squad, so you continue to enjoy every moment of it.
Be 'super' comfortable
The business cannot afford you not to be! As a business owner, you are the leader of your company. Take care of yourself. Taking a pay to be super comfortable is not an expense. Practice great self-care, take vacations, and always seek support when needed. Remember, if you're not at your best, your business won't be either.
