The weakest link
Every company is vulnerable to cyber attacks, and the end user is the weakest link in the chain, being the most uneducated. Therefore, take proactive measures to enhance your organization's security posture by providing basic cybersecurity training to your team.
It's Not All Or Nothing
Many people believe that they need to be cybersecurity experts and spend millions to protect themselves from cyber threats. However, this is not necessarily the case. Cybercriminals always go after easy targets, such as those with weak security measures or no security at all. By implementing even basic cybersecurity practices, you can greatly reduce your risk of falling victim to a cyber attack.
Targeted vs. Non-Targeted
If a company is targeted by a hacker, they will get hacked even with every protection in place. However, most attacks are non-targeted; hackers just go for the low-hanging fruit. Again, basic cybersecurity will ensure that you are not an easy target, and hackers will move on.
